Zesta Dalton Wade, 92 of Hillsville, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband Burgoyne Wade; parents Jayhue Dalton and Lona Goad Dalton; and also two brothers and sister-in-law Cleston Dalton and Clemance and Elva Dalton. She is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law Rheda and Authur Lee Wheeler and Ivalene and Tom Spangler all of Narrows, VA; brother Convern Dalton of Wytheville, VA; six nieces and nephews; and other family members.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 7, 2011 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 3:00 PM with Pastor Dustin Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in the Cox Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. The family would like to express their thanks to Wheatland Hills Retirement in Hillsville and Mountain Valley Hospice and the caring and supportive staff of each. Zesta prayed for many years to be reunited with her husband. Thanks to God she is at peace and her prayers have been answered.
