Zachary "Zach" James Edwards, 33 of Woodlawn, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026.  Zach was born in Radford, Virginia on May 23, 1992.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruth and Leonard Bobbitt and Bill and Peggy Cox.

Survivors include his wife, Alisha Lynn Bedsaul Edwards; two sons and two daughters, Tucker, Jordyn, Chet, and Hallie Edwards; parents, James Dale and Debra Sue Cox Edwards; sister, Anna Edwards; in-laws, Roger and Michelle Bedsaul and Mike and Robin Lawrence; grandparents, Glen and Doris Edwards; special friend, Jordan Lamb; and uncles, Timmy Edwards and Danny Edwards. He is also survived by several more friends and family members.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Brian Combs officiating.  A private graveside will be held at a later time.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.  The family request no flowers please and instead donations may be made to the Humane Society P.O. Box 125, Hillsville, VA 24343. For those attending the services please come as you are and don't feel like you have to dress up.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
