Worth Lynwood Cox, 93, of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2014 at Trinity Mission of Hillsville. Mr. Cox was born in Galax, Virginia to the late Samuel Cleveland and Rita Wilkinson Cox. Survivors include his wife, Grace Kyle Cox of the home; children and spouses, Rita and Jim Parker of Hillsville, Worth and Kathy Cox, Jr. of Gladys, VA, and S.C. Cox of Hillsville; grandchildren, George Parker, Christina Barton, Kelly Breedlove, Kyle Cox, Kimberly Cox, Brandon Cox, Courtney Cox, Brent Cox, and Yolanda Zepeda; and great grandchildren, Thomas Parker, Graham Parker, Clark Breedlove, Chloe Breedlove, Lacey Cox, Junior Zepeda, Alex Zepeda and Andrew Zepeda. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in Hillsville at 2:00 PM with Pastor Robert Smith and Rev. Pam Sutherland officiating. Burial will follow in Felts Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Memorial Fund of FUMC Paving P.O. Box 356 Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
