Worley Byron King, 89, of Waynesboro, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Augusta Health.  Mr. King was born in Michigan to the late Leonard and Adra Wilhelm King.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Katherine Barrick, and several other family members.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Faye M. King; daughters, Debra F. Paden (Daniel) and Nancy Combs; grandchildren, Jonathan Paden (Amy), David Paden (Monika), and Shanna Deilke (Francis); great-grandchildren, Benjamin Paden, Timothy Paden, Oliver Paden, Milly Paden, Max Paden, Hannah Paden, Owen Paden, Lara Gilbert, Deston Hall, and Nyxie Deilke; and nephew, Roger Barrick.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Minister Ed Buchanan officiating.  Entombment will follow in Monta Vista Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
