Winters Virginia Stilwell, 81 of Galax, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2007 at Golden Living Center-Blue Ridge. Mrs. Stilwell was preceded in death by her husband Charles Stilwell. She is survived by her sons & daughter-in-law Joe & Lynn Stilwell and Trayhamn Stilwell all of Galax; brother James Carson Moore of Front Royal, VA; and five grandchildren Carlie Winters Stilwell, Dennis S. Newman, Joey R. Harber, Laura Haskin and Shelby D. Stilwell.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 21, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church in Hillsville at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ronnie Collins, Rev. Ty Harrison and Rev. Robert L. Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday night from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
