Winona Ruth Dalton Joyce, 76, of Laurel Fork, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2012. Mrs. Joyce was born in Carroll County to the late Moody T. and Myrtle Dalton. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Roy Glenn Joyce. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law Ronald Dalton of Dugspur, Elvin and Norma Dalton of Laurel Fork, and Carnie and Rebecca Joyce of Hillsville; daughter Tanya Dalton of Laurel Fork; brothers Waymon Dalton of Pulaski, Curtis Dalton of Allisonia, Junior Dalton of Hillsville, and Richard Dalton of Hillsville; sisters Wilma Martin and Faye Burcham both of Hillsville; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Oscar Hill and Rev. Norman Goad officiating. Burial will follow in the Isaac Banks Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
