Obituary

William Richard Sutphin, 83 of Blacksburg, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2017 at his home. Mr. Sutphin was born in Virginia to the late Fred Wesley and Rosa Ellen Ogle Sutphin.

Survivors include his sister, Mary Ellen Davidson of Hillsville; niece, Cynthia Caviness; and nephew, Wesley Herring.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Monta Vista Memory Gardens with Pastor Rocky Sutphin officiating. There will be no visitation. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
