William David Oakley age 58 of Hillsville, Virginia passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Twin County Regional. David was born April 29, 1966.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Ruth Lawson Oakley of Hillsville; brother Charles Oakley of Hillsville.

David is survived by his two daughters, Nina Landreth of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Kayla Molina of Winston Salem, NC; one grandson Vincent Molina; brother Dennis Oakley of Hillsville; sister-in-law Phyllis Oakley of Hillsville.

His daughters want to thank him for the greatest gift he gave them, his sense of humor. He taught them how to appreciate a good joke, for their most treasured memories with him were immersed in laughter. David will be missed and always remembered.

No funeral services will be held. Upon his request, Mr. Oakley will be cremated.
