William Yeager, Jr. 87 of Daytona, FL passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016 in Florida. Mr. Yeager was preceded in death by his parents, William Yeager, Sr. and Ida Yeager; and one brother, Robert Yeager.

Survivors include his wife, Sadie Yeager of Florida; children and spouses, William Yeager, III of CT, Carol Yeager of CT, Helen and Freddy Henley of Hillsville, Marion and Freddie Marshall of Hillsville, Debbie and Ronnie Quesenberry of Hillsville, Kim and Kermit Cockerham of Mt. Airy, NC, and Lisa Adams of Pembrook, VA; sister, Irene Canfield of PA; several grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Pastor David Bays officiating. Burial will follow in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin. Military Rites will be conducted at the gravesite. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sylvatus Christian Church c/o Betty Zane Lanter 68 Shady Hill Drive, Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
