William (Bill) Jerry Henley, 47 of Dugspur, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Henley was preceded in death by his grandparents Robert & Betty Henley and Harrison & Ethel Gravley; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is survived by his daughter Nicole Shumate of Pilot Mt. NC, and her mother Debbie Inman of Mt. Airy, NC; his parents Charles & Geraldine Henley of Dugspur; sisters & brothers-in-law Wanda & Wade Humphrey of Hillsville, and Charlotte & Larry Owens of Booneville, MS; brother & sister-in-law B.J. & Alexandria Mills of Pilot Mt., NC; and special cousin & friend Wesley Gravley.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 26, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Shiloh United Methodist Church with Pastor Gerald Humphrey officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. Mr. Henley will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Thursday, June 25, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
