William (Willie) Jennings, 83, of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, NC. Mr. Jennings was born in Hillsville, VA to the late Guy (Kenny) & Thursa Dalton Jennings. He is survived by his wife Martha Princess Jennings of the home; sons & daughters-in-law Bill Jennings & wife Diane Pritchard of Statesville, NC, Terry Jennings & wife Sonya of Radford, and Gary Jennings and wife Carol of Radford; sister Mallie Shockley of Hillsville; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Dr. Allen Cherry officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardner Memorial Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 12, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
