William (Bill) Iroler, 82 of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2008 at his home. Mr. Iroler was born in Carroll County to the late Charles Dexter & Ida Maude Iroler. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Bernice Iroler. Mr. Iroler is survived by daughter & son-in-law Cindy & Myron Zeigler of Atlanta, GA; son Michael Perry Iroler of Roanoke; brothers & sisters-in-law Roddie & Alease Iroler of Hillsville and Robert & Gaye Iroler of Fries; sister Peggy Thomas of Richmond; sister-in-law Lucille Iroler of Hillsville; grandchildren Justin Iroler and Maggie Zeigler; great grandchildren Catrina Iroler and Carson Iroler; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at the Hillsville Christian Church at 11:00 AM with Dr. John Dunstan officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Memory Gardens. Military Rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. The family will receive friends at the Hillsville Christian Church on Wednesday from 10:00 until 11:00 prior to the funeral service.
