William C. Hall, 85, of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday March 16, 2014 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows. Mr. Hall was born in Carroll County to the late Obie and Cora Nester Hall. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Paul Edwin Hall; two sisters; and two brothers. Survivors include his wife, Lou Fern Hall of the home; son, Nelson Hall of Hillsville; grandchildren, Jason Hall, Cara Lindner, and Justin Hall; great grandchildren, Rachel Lindner and Brody Lindner; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service with burial following will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Cruise Cemetery with Pastor Oscar Hill officiating. There will be no visitation. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
