William (Bill) H. Burcham, Jr., 72 of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Burcham was born in Princeton, WV to the late William Harrison and Phyllis Mandeville Burcham.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Burcham of the home; daughters, Sharon Edwards of Pfafftown, NC and Michelle Pitt of Farmville, NC; brothers and sister-in-law, Joe and Pam Burcham of Concord, NC and David Burcham of Pinnacle, NC; sister, Peggy Crosswhite of Lynchburg; grandchildren, Alyssa, Courteney, Ryan, Lauryn, and Brandon; and several other family members.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 10:00 AM with Rev. Ray Bolen officiating. Burial will follow in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Grover King Post 1115. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Hillsville V.F.W. Grover King Post 1115, the American Heart Association, or the charity of your choice. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
