William Alfred Guynn, 74 of Rocky Mount, passed away Friday, February 10, 2006. Mr. Guynn is survived by daughters & sons-in-law Carol & Bruce Richardson of Ferrum, VA, Lucy & Harold Brewer of Lexington, NC, Judy & Joey Messinger of Lebanon, TN, Sherry Wyrick of Greensboro, NC, Wilma & Ronnie Reed of Walnut Cove, NC and Rita Guynn of Rural Hall, NC; sons & daughters-in-law Everett Guynn of Rocky Mount, Graden & Selena Guynn of Rocky Mount, Perry & Jackie Wyrick of Greensboro, NC and Tony Guynn of Walnut Cove, NC; sisters & brothers-in-law Viola Nuckolls of Asheboro, NC, Bonnie & Hack Bond of Fancy Gap, Josie & Floyd Bain of Check, and Beulah & Victor Goad of Fancy Gap; brothers & sister-in-law Jesse & Cindy Guynn of Fancy Gap and Wiley Guynn of Yadkinville, NC; 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 14, 2006, at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Grover Guynn officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Cana, VA. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. on Monday night at the funeral home.
