William Franklin "Frank" Goad, 51, of Woodlawn, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Goad was born in Radford to the late Senior R. and Nannie M. Goad. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Douglas Goad; a sister, Sandra Elizabeth Knapp; and a son, Michael Hal Caudill. Survivors include his wife, Wanda L. Goad of the home; sons, Joey Goad (Kristen) of Galax, Keith Caudill (Mary) of Fuquay Varina, NC, Marty Caudill of Hillsville, and Tracy Caudill (Marsha) of Laurel Fork; daughters, Kathy Bunn (Gary) of Iron Station, NC, Karla Archer (Terry) of Fries; and Corina Beck (Paul) of Jonesville, NC; special granddaughter Tara Lee Goad; sixteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; brother, Danny Goad (Margaret) of Mount Airy, NC; sister, Judy Hornak (Dan) of Mount Airy, NC; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Nathan Montgomery officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12:30 until service time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family P.O. Box 315, Woodlawn, VA 24381.
