William Kenneth Cox, 81 of Laurel Fork, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. Mr. Cox was born in Carroll County, VA to the late James Allen and Laura Sutphin Cox. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ruth Cox.

Survivors include his sons, Michael Cox and Richard Kenneth Cox both of Laurel Fork; brother, Fred Cox of Annadale, VA; grandson and spouse, Michael and Christine Cox; great-grandson, Adam Cox.

Graveside services with burial following will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Laurel Fork Cemetery at 11:00 AM with Chaplain Rickey Spencer officiating. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
