William Mason Bowman, 92 of Laurel Fork, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the home of a daughter. Mr. Bowman was born in Carroll County, VA to the late ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Thomas Franklin & Clara Fariss Bowman Goad. Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Largen Bowman, a daughter and son in law, Mildred Faye and Danny Bowman, a grandson, Sterling Bowman, sister, Marie Stevens, brothers, Garner Bowman, Lowell Bowman

Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Bonnie Nester, Laurel Fork, Mabel & Bill Tate of Hillsville, Grandchildren and spouses, Steven and Tammy Bowman, Mark Nester, Kevin & Sherry Tate, Keisha & Mike Dalton, Great Grandchildren, Daniel Bowman, Maegan Tate, Morgan Tate, William Dalton, Wyatt Dalton, sister Kathleen Sutphin, Laurel Fork, brother and sister in law, Lacy & Drema Bowman, Hillsville also many nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with the Pastor Mike Wells and Elder Gleason Worrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Worrell Memorial Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Grover King Post 1115 Veterans of Foreign Wars. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady will be serving the Bowman family.
