William James Bolen, 75 of Austinville, passed away on Tuesday, March 06, 2007 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Bolen was preceded in death by his parents Arby Jeff and Ellie Woods Bolen; wife Anna Mae Bolen; and grandson Garrett Warf. He is survived by his daughters & son-in-law Cathy & Sam Vaughan and Cindy Warf all of Hillsville; sons & daughter-in-law Dennis James Bolen of Galax and Douglas & Carla Bolen of Austinville; brothers & sisters-in-law Robert Jeff Bolen of Hillsville, Durrell & Lora Bolen of Hillsville, Jess Bolen of Vinton and Garland & Gloria Jean Bolen of Hillsville; sister Linda Sharp of Hillsville; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Ray Bolen officiating. Burial will follow in the Shupe Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home on Wednesday night. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
