William Robert (Bobby) Davis, Sr.,69, passed away on June 20, 2008 at his residence in Hillsville. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Reva Ann Cogle Davis of the home; daughters and son-in-law Karen Davis Widner of Laurel Fork, Andrea Davis & Terry Mayes of Cana; son and daughter-in-law William Robert (Billy), Jr. and Nikki Cole Davis of Hillsville; brother and sister-in-law Larry Lee & Joyce Davis of Hillsville; grandchildren Cody & Jena Widner; Makayla, Lane & Hannah Davis; and Ashton Mayes; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Victory Way Baptist Church, with Rev. Neil Eidson and Brother Jim Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the North End Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 21, 2008 from 6 to 8 PM at the Vaughan Guynn McGrady Chapel. Military Rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115.
