Willa Lee Hamilton, 84, of North Canton Ohio Passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015. She was born in Woodlawn, VA, on June 14, 1931, to the late, Garnett and Zella (Newman) Burnette. Following high school, she moved to Washington D.C., to work for the FBI. Later moved to North Canton and built an active life surrounded by loving friends and neighbors. Willa loved working around her home and yard, making it beautiful. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Geneva and Wilford Cox, and brothers, Kenny Calvin and Hazen Burnette; brother-in-law, Tom Terry. Willa is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Jeffrey) Cortez of Woodridge, Illinois; grandchildren, Gwendolyn and Benjamin Cortez; sister, Gardella Terry of Virginia; sister-in-law, Linda Burnette of Virginia, and many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Coulson Church of the Brethren. The family will receive friends at the Coulson Church of the Brethren on Saturday, August 1, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Hamilton family
