Wayne Dale Williams, 71, of Hillsville, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018 at his home. Mr. Williams was born in Carroll County to the late Harding and Mary Ayers Williams. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Carl H. Williams

Survivors include his nieces and nephews, Erik W. Williams of Richmond, Heather R. Austin of Wytheville, and Shane H. Williams of Johnson City, TN; and sister-in-law, Bethel Williams of Wytheville.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Mike Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
