Wayne Green (Cornbread) Marshall, 72 of Laurel Fork, VA passed away on Friday, December 16, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Marshall was preceded in death by his parents, Harless and Vera Marshall; brothers, Ralph and Sanford Marshall. He is survived by his wife Emma Tippett Marshall; five sons and daughters in-laws, Roger Dale Marshall, Wayne Jr. and Barbara Marshall, Tony Marshall, Tim and Dawn Marshall, and Adam and Amber Marshall; two daughters, Laveda Marshall, and Judy Marshall; brother Racine Marshall; sister, Mary Ann Holcomb; sixteen special grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 7:40 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Harold Fenstermaker officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
