Wayburn Odell Dalton, 72 of Hillsville, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021. Mr. Dalton was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Kenny and Virginia Lewis Dalton. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his step-daughter, Teresa Thompson and brother, James Dalton.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia M. Dalton; sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Molly Dalton, Stephen and Christy Dalton, and Bobby Thompson; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Ellis Hundley; brother and sister-in-law, Kenny and Brenda Dalton; and ten grandchildren.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 3:00 PM at the Southwest Virginia Veteran's Cemetery with Pastor Mike Wells officiating. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
