Warner Dane Surratt, 72 of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. He was born in Carroll County to the late Sylvan and Margie White Surratt. Mr. Surratt is survived by his wife Sarah B. Surratt of the home; three children Ronald Dane Surratt of Wake Field, VA, Karen Surratt Brown of Boiling Springs, SC, and Jeffrey Randle Surratt of Richmond, VA; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister Andrea Smythers of Northern Virginia; and brothers Larry Surratt of Florida, Gary Surratt of Hillsville, VA, and Conrad Surratt of North Carolina.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 12, 2010 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow in the White and Allen Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 12, 2010 beginning at 12:30 PM until service time.
