Wanda Sue Hawks, 78 of Laurel Fork, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows. Mrs. Hawks was born in Carroll County to the late Clarence W. and Virginia B. McGrady Turner. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Thornton Hawks and a brother, Teddy W. Turner.

Survivors include her daughters, Ellen M. Foster and Samantha Walker; brothers, William Ronald Turner and Noel W. Turner; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Winston Puckett officiating. Burial will follow in the Love Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
