Wanda Lou Bryant, 70 of Hillsville, passed away on January 11, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Bryant was born in Carroll County to the late Chester Thomas and Mary Helen Horton Edwards. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Vernie Ray Bryant.

Survivors include her children, Tracy R. Bryant of Cana and Ben G. Bryant of Woodlawn; one brother, Wayne Edwards of Fredericksburg; two sisters, Faye Bond of Woodlawn and Esther Swing of High Point, NC; three grandchildren, Lance Bryant, Holly Bryant, and Katlin Bryant; and one great grandson, Kayden Bryant.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 Am with Mr. Tim Hawks officiating. Burial will follow in the Henley Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
