Walter Roger Miller, 81 of Max Meadows, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Wythe County Hospital. Mr. Miller was born in Swords Creek, Virginia on June 25, 1940 and moved to reside in Martinsville when he was a child. Upon retirement, he moved to Max Meadows, where he currently resided. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aulder Grahm Miller and Elda Marie Stone of Swords Creek; one son, Aulder Stevenson Miller; three brothers, Leonard Darrell Miller, Lonnie Dale Miller, and Thurman Allen Miller; and one sister, Judy Carol Miller.

Survivors include his children Roger Eugene Miller of Martinsville. Walter Lee Miller of Max Meadows, and Lisa Ann Miller Lawson and husband, Mark Lawson of Fieldale; brothers, James Grahm Miller of Martinsville, Ronnie Miller of Martinsville, Terry Wayne Miller of Scottsboro, Alabama, and Jerry Wade Miller of Pine Bluff, NC; ten grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In accordance to Mr. Miller's wishes there will be no services. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
