Walter James Hash, 70, of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at his home. Mr. Hash was born in Aberdeen, Maryland to the late Clarence Robert and Gladys Scott Hash. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Dale Wayne Hash. Survivors include his sons, Jonathan Walter Hash and Michael Joseph Hash and brother, Ralph Clarence Hash, all of Maryland. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Father Manning officiating. Burial will follow in Gardner Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
