Walter Grey Edwards, 77 of Austinville, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at his home. Mr. Edwards was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Oscar and Beatrice Bowman Edwards. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Helen Marie Phillips Edwards; brothers, Leonard Edwards, Ray Edwards, Guy Edwards, and Burt Edwards; and sister, Dorothy Lawson.

Survivors include his children and spouses, Marie and Nathan Youngblood, Jr. Edwards, Steve and Stacey Edwards, and Dean and Jill Edwards; siblings, Elmer Edwards, Glenn Edwards, W.D. Edwards, and June Burnette; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service and burial will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 3:00 PM at the Richard Beasley Cemetery with Pastor Russell Payne and Pastor Bryan Phillips officiating.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
