Walker E. Horton, 77, of Fancy Gap, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Horton is survived by his wife Rebecca J. Horton of Fancy Gap; daughter & son-in-law Brenda H. & Danny M. Bowman of Jefferson, NC; son Randy E. Horton of Fancy Gap; brother & sister-in-law Olin J. & Eunice B. Horton of Fancy Gap; sister Opal E. Horton of Fancy Gap; five grandchildren & spouses Jeremy M. Bowman of Lansing, NC, Justin D. Bowman and wife Katie of Winston Salem, NC, Elesha B. LeBlanc and husband, Reed of Corpus Christi, TX, Zachary T. Horton of Fancy Gap and Austin T. Horton of Fancy Gap; and four great grandchildren Madison D. Culver and Braxton D. Culver both of Corpus Christi, TX, Brady M. Bowman of Winston Salem, NC and J. Rush LeBlanc of Corpus Christi, TX.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Dr. John Dunstan officiating. Burial will follow in the Bobbitt-Quesinberry Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday night at the funeral home.
