Virginia Belle Stone King, 95 of Max Meadows, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Wythe County Hospital.  Mrs. King was born in Carroll County to the late Hobert and Gertrude Parnell Stone.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Frederick "Jack" Eugene King; brothers, Clifton Stone, Thomas Stone, Ronald Stone, and Herbert Stone; and a sister, Evelyn Rose.

Survivors include her daughters, Dana King and Gina King-Dickens (Thomas); sisters, Bertha Marshall and Myrtle Peverall; and many nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at West End Cemetery in Wytheville with Mr. Ed Buchanan officiating. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
