Virginia Sue Smith, 74, of Galax, VA passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Howlett, second husband, Lewis Arthur Smith; parents, Marvin and Myrtle Fortner Branscome.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Ginger Branscome of Kernersville, NC; daughter, Louisa Brancati of Roanoke, VA; brother, Harden Branscome of Ormond Beach, FL; five grandchildren, Will Branscome, Robert Branscome, Macey Branscome, Elizabeth Brancati, and Victoria Brancati; nephew, BeeBe Branscome.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Norman Hubbard and Pastor Will VanWieren officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Smith family.
