Virginia Brewer Shupe of Morristown, TN, born June 23, 1923, passed peacefully on February 26, 2026 at the age of 102.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Shupe.

Survivors include her son, Tom (Karen) Shupe and daughter, Joyce (Ed) Watson.  Grandchildren include Vivian (Randy) Elkins, Cari (Tim) Chase, and Shelby (John) Arnold, as well as six great-grandchildren.

Virginia and Henry are best known as owners of Hank's Place, a renowned restaurant in Chadd's Ford, PA, which they operated for over 30 years.

Burial will be at the Shupe Cemetery in Austinville, VA on March 10, 2026 at 1:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shupe Cemetery c/o Juanita Vaughn 7248 Coulson Church Road, Austinville, VA 24312.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Shupe family.
