Virginia "Jenny" H. Humphrey, 74 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Humphrey was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Walter and Louise Horton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, George Horton and Reed Horton.

Survivors include her husband, Allen Humphrey; step-son, Brian Humphrey; two special sisters and brother-in-law, Mamie Sawyers and Mary and Joe Marshall; special nephew and wife, Brian and Christina Horton; special great-nephews, Jonathan Horton and Garrett Horton; special pet, her Yorkie "Snuggles"; and nephew Shannon Horton.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastors Gerald Humphrey and Ronnie Isom officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain Plains Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
