Virginia Hazel Carroll, 44 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at her residence. Ms. Carroll is survived by her daughter Joanna M. Carroll of the home; sisters & brother-in-law Frances & Danny Triplett of Dugspur and Margie Boucher; mother Barbara French of Pulaski; special parents/ Aunt & Uncle Raymond & Judy Stanley of Hillsville; special aunts Becky Cox of Floyd and Bonnie Roten of Ennice, NC; special friend Jerry D. Nester of Dugspur; and grandmother Belle Hylton of Meadows of Dan.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at Farris Mines Christian Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Dennis Trail officiating. Burial will follow in the Sifford Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the service.
