Virgie Lee Nester, 84 of Laurel Fork, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows. Mrs. Nester was born in Floyd, Virginia to the late Stuard and Daddy Weeks Harmon. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Gene Nester; daughters, Zonnia Lynn Quesenberry, Zonnia Lee Nester, and Earlene Nester; sons, Gary Dale Nester and Edward Nester; and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her sons, Charles Nester and wife, Sherry, Mike Nester and wife, Debra, and Donnie Nester; sister, Edna Jerrell; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Maple Shade Cemetery at 2:00 PM with Pastors Ronnie Goad and Evan Nester officiating. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
