Vida Dalton Turman, 85 of Dugspur, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Trinity Mission of Hillsville. Survivors include her husband, Reaford Turman of Dugspur; sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and René Turman and Donnie and Linda Turman all of Dugspur; four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Dylie Quesenberry of Willis; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Guy and Velta Huff of Dugspur. Mrs. Turman was preceded in death by her parents, Plezzea and Minnie Dalton; brothers, Everette Dalton and Clifford Dalton; and sister, Cosby Bishop. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Dr. Ricky Atkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Cox Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
