Vida Evelyn Bowman's Obituary
Vida Evelyn Bowman, 91 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Bowman was born in Carroll County to the late Andrew Harrison and Malissa Willard Bowman. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Rex Bowman.
Survivors include her sister, Hazel B. Horton of Hillsville; several nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Ala Dean Bowman.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Stewart Childress officiating. Burial will follow in Bluemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service.
Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
