Vesta A. Quesenberry, 83 of Woodlawn, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017. Mrs. Quesenberry was born in Carroll County to the late Canada A. and Notre Dame Shaw Marshall. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Harley L. Quesenberry.

Survivors include her brothers, Lonnie W. Marshall of Woodlawn and Roy T. Marshall of Ararat; sisters, Jane Marshall of Greenville, WV and Elaine Baker of Wilmington, DE; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 12:00 PM with Elder Ronald Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in the Horton Cemetery on Loggy Ridge Road in Hillsville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 until 12:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
