Vesta Phillips Quesenberry, 97, of Dugspur passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Wheatland Retirement Center. Mrs. Quesenberry was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Peacher and Lucy Dalton Phillips. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lincoln J. Quesenberry; son, Ronald Kay Quesenberry; brother, James Phillips; and sister, Blanche Collier. Survivors include her son, L.J. Quesenberry of Dugspur; daughter-in-law, Janice Quesenberry of Hawaii; brother and sister-in-law, Jordon and Vivian Phillips of Branson, MO; sister, Minnie Lou Hull of Spencer, VA; five grandchildren, Robert Quesenberry, Ryan Quesenberry, Janelle Au, Michael Quesenberry, and Debby Quesenberry; ten great grandchildren, James Quesenberry, Vesta Quesenberry, Travis Quesenberry, Jordyn Quesenberry, Brooke Quesenberry, Jake Au, Isabelle Au, Rylee Au, Basil Au, and Olivia Barnes. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Elmon Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Branscome Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Quesenberry family.
