Vesta K. Goins, 89 of Meadows of Dan, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows. Ms. Goins was born in Patrick County to the late John Edgar & Corley Shepard Kimble. She is survived by her daughter Ella Jean Dalton of Meadows of Dan; sister Alpha Pruette of Mt. Airy, NC; three grandchildren David Belcher, Donna Riggins and Scott Tate; great grandson & spouse Lee R. & Dawn Quesinberry; and four great-great grandchildren Hanna, Cody, Brandy and Carley Quesinberry.

Funeral services will be held at the Old Bell Spur Church on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 1:00 PM with Elder Tim McGrady and Rev. Clarence Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in the Bell Spur Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Thursday, November 13, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
