Veronica "Vicky" Phillips, 72 of Indian Valley, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022. Vicky was born in Wythe County, Virginia and was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Widner Lewis and a brother, Robert David (Bob) Lewis.

Most often Vicky could be found spending time with Eugene. She loved decorating her home and yard and took great care in making sure everything was organized and in place. She also enjoyed cooking.

Survivors include her husband Eugene Phillips of Indian Valley; sons, Christopher Todd King (Sammie) of Rural Retreat and Danny King (Stephanie) of Indian Valley; stepchildren, Kevin Phillips (Kerri Hunley) of Hillsville and Crystal Phillips Casstevens (Josh Willard) of Booneville, NC; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and sister, Martha Lewis of Conway, SC.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mountain Valley Hospice 243 North Lee Ave. Yadkinville, NC 27055 or to Cornerstone Family Ministries at 3132 Cornerstone Way Yadkinville, NC 27055.
