Veronica "Ronnie" Lee Meredith, 83 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC.  Mrs. Meredith was born in Carroll County to the late Jack and Gracie Gravley.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Randall Gravley.

Ronnie was a member of the Fancy Gap United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Kenneth Meredith; children, Kenneth W. Meredith (Barbara), Kathy Meredith Funkhouser (Troy), and Keith J. Meredith (Keli); brother, Greg Gravley (Sharon); sisters-in-law, Judy Gravley, Betty Meredith, and Faye Shepherd (Ron); special aunt, Scottie Crowder; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Pastors Rick Clark, Howard Thompson, Wendell Horton and Lucas Dalton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Webb-Skyview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 29, 2024 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Fancy Gap United Methodist Church 578 Old Appalachian Trail, Fancy Gap, VA 24328. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
