Verna Mae Burcham, 67, of Fancy Gap passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Waddell Nursing and Rehab. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elton and Minnie Webb Nester Survivors include her husband, Lionel Burcham of the home; two sisters and brother-in-law, Carol and Elwood Cruise of Hillsville, and Brenda Goad of Hillsville; sister-in-law, Lois Weeks of Floyd. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Minister Doug Goad, and Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating. Burial will follow in the Nester Cemetery in Laurel Fork. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Burcham family.
