Verdon Marcus Marshall, 90, of Dugspur, passed away on Tuesday, July 17,2018 at his home. Mr. Marshall was born in Carroll County to the late Floyd Mack and Ocie Levada Goad Marshall.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Nannie Marshall of the home; son, Tony Marshall of Dugspur; grandchildren and spouses, Anthony and Jennifer Marshall of Dugspur and Beth and Aaron Lester of Pulaski; great-grandchildren, Caleigh Marshall, Jacob Marshall, Eli Lester, and Laura-Beth Lester; step-great-grandchildren, Matthew Saltus and Nathan Saltus; step-great-great-grandson, Braxton Saltus; special friend, Rachel Huff; sister-in-law, Hazel Marshall; and nephew, Ronnie Marshall.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Kenneth Poston officiating. Burial will follow in the Marshall Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
