Vera Alderman Webb 98, of Hillsville passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband Clayton Webb; son, Douglas Elmo Webb; parents, George W. and Nancy Martin Alderman. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-laws, Olen Duane Webb and Larry Dean Webb of the home, Coy Delton and Gillian Webb of Hillsville, Damon Clayton and Joyce Webb of Archdale, NC, Kenneth Wise and Yvonne Webb of Hillsville; daughters and sons-in-laws, Vesta Lea and Walter H. McGrady of Hillsville, Betty Lou and Emmett Meredith of Fancy Gap, Reva Evelyn and Foy Banks of Hillsville, and Nancy Carol and Keith Grubb of Hillsville; daughter-in-law Mary June Webb; fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Bobby Webb officiating. Burial will follow in the J.P. Webb Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 17, 2013 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. The family says that flowers would be appreciated. However donations may be made to Round Knob Baptist Church, 2164 Greenberry Road, Fancy Gap, VA 24328. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Webb family.
