Vera Alma Guynn, 88 of Hillsville, passed away Sunday June 11, 2006 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Guynn was preceded in death by her husband Barnett B. Guynn. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law Mildred & Richard Marshall of Hillsville; sisters & brother-in-law Lula & Jake Lewis of Hillsville and Freda Martin of Hillsville; three sisters-in-law Alee Goad, Mae Goad and Opal Goad all of Hillsville; three grandchildren & spouses Roxana & David Kamoda, Rhonda Marshall, and Ramona & Adam Ashton; and four great grandchildren Lauren Kamoda, Colin Kamoda, Amber Ashton and Avery Ashton.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church at 11:00 A.M. with the Elder David Kamoda officiating. Burial will follow in the Isaac Banks Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday night at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
