Venice Collean Terry, 69, of Meadows of Dan, VA passed away on Friday, December 14, 2012 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Virginia Henley Reece; brother, Walter Reece; sister, Glenna Smith; great grandson, David Clay Tickle. Survivors include her husband, Archie Ray Terry of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Stuart and Rebecca Shockley of Meadows of Dan; daughter and son-in-law, Angela Colleen and Rolland Cox of Dugspur; four grandchildren, Jennifer Shockley, Katherine Shockley, Andrew Cox, and Austin Cox; five brothers and sisters-in-laws, Marvin and Lois Reece of PA, Elmo and Myra Reece of Hillsville, Clark and Connie Reece of Hillsville, Lonnie and Debbie Reece of King, and Jerry Reece of Radford; two sisters, Willowdean Reece of Mt. Airy, NC, and Linda Lowe of Hillsville; sister-in-law and spouse, Nelda Terry and Charles Isenhour. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Austin Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow in the Bellspur Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, December 17, 2012 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
