Tula S. Jenkins, 92, of Hillsville, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Twin County Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Refert C. Jenkins.

Mrs. Jenkins is survived by a brother & sister-in-law Schaeffer and Hestel Simpkins of Indian Valley; a sister-in-law Sylvia Simpkins of Indian Valley and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2007 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Dr. John Dunstan officiating. The Hillsville VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Hillsville Order of Easter Star will both have a memorial service after the funeral. Burial will then follow in the Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hillsville Christian Church Building Fund.
